Short Information: The Directorate General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has published an official open-competitive examination notification for the recruitment of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) and Pioneer Cadre positions (Male/Female) for the year 2026. Indian citizens who satisfy the essential domicile rules of their respective States/UTs are eligible to register. Pay Scale & Matrix Allocation
Post Rank Pay Scale: Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 - Rs. 69,100) under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) structure plus usual allowances permissible in the Force.
Age Limit Criteria (As on 01/08/2026)
- Constable (Driver): 21 to 27 Years (Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/08/1999 and not later than 01/08/2005).
- All Other Tradesmen & Pioneer Posts: 18 to 23 Years (Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/08/2003 and not later than 01/08/2008).
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get 3 years upper age relaxation as per Central Govt reservation standards.
