The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the RRB NTPC Graduate Notification 2025 (CEN No. 06/2025) for the recruitment of 5810 Graduate Level posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). These vacancies are available across various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent (must be completed by the closing date of application).
• Final year students are not eligible.
• Certain posts may require proficiency in typing (English/Hindi) with minimum speed of 30 WPM.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 36 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwD: 10 years (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST)
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
  • Other categories: As per government norms

Applications must be submitted online through the official RRB websites. Follow these steps:

3. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done.

Selection Process

The selection involves multiple stages:

• CBT 1 (Preliminary): 100 questions, 90 marks, 60 minutes. Covers General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning.
• CBT 2 (Main): 120 questions, 120 marks, 90 minutes. Similar sections with higher difficulty.
• Typing Skill Test (TST)/Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Qualifying in nature for specific posts (e.g., CBAT for Station Master).
• Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final stage.

Note: Negative marking: 1/3 marks deducted for wrong answers in CBTs.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Levels 5 or 6 as per 7th CPC:

• Pay Scale: Level 5: ₹29,200 - ₹92,300; Level 6: ₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400
• Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, etc.
• Other Benefits: Medical facilities, pension under NPS, promotional opportunities, railway passes.

• Focus on syllabus: Mathematics, Reasoning, General Awareness (Current Affairs, History, Geography, Science).
