Overview

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC Delhi Police Constable 2025 Notification for the recruitment of 7565 Constable (Executive) posts in Delhi Police. These vacancies include 5069 for males and 2496 for females, providing a significant opportunity for 12th-pass candidates aspiring to join the Delhi Police force. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board or equivalent.
• For male candidates: Must have a valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) or Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).
• Proficiency in local language may be required.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years (Born between 02.01.2001 and 01.01.2008)
• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC: 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwD: 10 years (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST)
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
  • Other categories: As per government norms

Physical Standards

• Male: Height 170 cm (relaxable for certain categories), Chest 81-85 cm
• Female: Height 157 cm (relaxable)

Application Process

Applications must be submitted online through the official SSC portal. Follow these steps:

2. Click on the "New User/Register Now" for Delhi Police Constable 2025.
3. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) with basic details.
4. Fill the online application form with personal, educational, and address details.
5. Upload scanned photograph, signature, and documents (as per specs: Photo - 20-50 KB, Signature - 10-20 KB).

Selection Process

The selection involves multiple stages:

• Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type, 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes. Covers Reasoning, GK/Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, Computer Fundamentals.
• Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Qualifying in nature (running, long jump, high jump, etc.).
• Medical Examination: Final health check including vision and physical fitness.

Note: No interview stage. Merit based on CBT score, subject to qualifying PET/PMT and Medical.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:

• Pay Scale: Level-3 (₹21,700 - ₹69,100) as per 7th CPC.
• Allowances: DA, HRA, TA, Medical, etc.

• Focus on syllabus: Reasoning, GK (Current Affairs, History, Geography), Maths, Computer Basics.
